Sunday May 27th - Canada JKA Karate Federation Provincial Championships at Senator O'Connor Secondary School in Scarborough.
2012 Inter-Dojo JKA League
On March 3rd 2012 (new date), the 3nd season of the Inter-Dojo JKA Karate League between CJKF dojos will be starting.
Similar to a season of sports such as soccer, or hockey, these "league matches" will take place at this dojo on the last Saturday of every month (not including summer months June-August) from 10am to approx 12:30pm.Click here for more information

Any CJKF member is welcome to compete. Each competitor must compete in at least 4 of the 6 competition dates to be eligible to receive an award of 1st, 2nd or 3rd.Rules:

The flag system will be used for kata. Random draw from Heian Shodan - Tekki Shodan, and Bassai Dai. New for this year - for adults only, Jion.Results from each "league match" will be accounted for and tabulated at the end of each season. At the end of the season trophies will be handed out to the top 3 individuals of each division.
We will also be planning an end of season banquet dinner as well. The events will be Individual Kata and Individual Kumite only, no Team Kata event. However, we will still have the Team Kata event at our Provincial Tournament in May. This league is only open to CJKF Brown and Black Belts.
The cost for each participant is $25 for the entire season (payable to Peel JKA).
Team Training
A one hour Team Training session will start right after Inter-Dojo tournament is finished. It is open to all CJKF brown and black belts who want to experience JKA tournament style training.
